Tax Credits Expire April 30!

The $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers and the $6,500 tax credit for repeat home buyers expire on April 30, 2010. If a binding sales contract is signed by April 30, 2010, home buyers have until June 30, 2010 to complete the purchase.

Helpful tips when selling your home.

Making your house appear as attractive and friendly as possible from the street is imperative. Without it, you will be hard put to get buyers interested in recognizing your home’s other attributes or potential. Start with the MIALBOX, if you have one on the street.

1. Remove all signs of deterioration. Replace the post the mailbox sits on, if necessary. If not, painting it to match the house is a nice touch. Remove rust from the box itself, and apply a new coat of paint. Renew the look of the flag by brightening faded red paint. Replace tattered house numbers.
2. If there are flowers planted at the base of the mailbox, make sure they look as fresh as possible.
